A flavorful twist on the classic spaghetti and meatballs, this recipe combines tender meatballs with spaghetti tossed in a rich, Jollof sauce. Ready in just 15 minutes, it’s the perfect dish for a quick, hearty meal with a bold, delicious upgrade!

Ingredients:

Store-Bought Meatballs: 20–25 fresh meatballs (beef, chicken, turkey or vegan).

Kwikish Jollof Paste - 300g (approx. 1 jar)

Water - ¼ cup

Vegetable Oil - 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Spaghetti - 400g

Salt - 1 tsp

Instructions

Step 1: Boil the Spaghetti

  1. -Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions (8–10 minutes for al dente).
  2. -While the spaghetti cooks, move on to preparing the meatballs.


Step 2: Prepare the Meatballs

    • -Quickly cook meatballs in a skillet with 1 tbsp oil over medium heat until browned on all sides (about 5–6 minutes).


Step 3: Make the Jollof Sauce

  1. -Once the meatballs are browned, add Kwikish Jollof Paste and ¼ cup water. Stir until smooth.
  2. -Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook for 5 minutes.


Step 4: Combine and Serve

  1. -By now, the spaghetti should be done. Drain it and add it directly into the skillet with the sauce and meatballs. Toss until evenly coated.
  2. -Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley, sliced chillis or a drizzle of chili oil for extra heat (optional).
